Trinity Sunday 15^th June: Focus: Contemplate with wonder & awe the beauty of God. - The Church invites us to explore humbly the mystery of the Most Holy Trinity & to grapple with the truths of this fundamental insight into the essence of God's being. The three Persons of the Holy Trinity - Father, Son, & Holy Spirit - are one, but are distinct from each other. Thus, we can say they are in relationship with one another - an eternal communion of love. Confronted with this mystery, let us contemplate with wonder & awe the beauty of God.

Loving God, We thank you for the gift of creation, for the beauty & wonder of the earth, & for all its resources. We acknowledge that we have not always been good stewards of this planet, & that our actions have often caused harm to your creation.

Forgive us for our carelessness, our greed, & our indifference to the needs of others & the well-being of the earth. Help us to see the interconnectedness of all things & to recognise that we are all part of your creation, & that we are called to care for it. Grant us the wisdom to understand the urgency of the climate crisis & the courage to make the necessary changes in our lives to protect your creation.

Inspire our leaders to make decisions that are just & sustainable, & to work together for the common good. May we all live more simply, consume less, & share more, so that future generations may also enjoy the beauty & bounty of your creation.

We pray for the healing of our planet & for the restoration of your creation to its original harmony. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ, your Son, who loved all creation & taught us to love one another. Amen.
