“The Family that Prays together stays together”

17th Sunday in Ordinary Time 28th July: Focus: God provides for us. – Today’s readings relate two feeding miracles – one performed by Elisha & one by Jesus. Of course, we know that the source of all miracles is God himself. In each story, the Lord goes beyond providing what is needed, multiplying what is offered so abundantly that there is food left over. As he provides for us, so we offer ourselves for him to use, & multiply what we offer, for others.
