The Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary 15th August: Focus: Mary, cause of our joy, pray for us. – The infant Jesus in Mary’s womb was a cause for joy for Elizabeth & John, her unborn son. Christ is present in us through the gift of the Eucharist. Where is our joy? Does it overflow & draw others to know & love Mary’s Son, Jesus? Mary is our model & our aid. She delights to intercede that all may trust Jesus.
