4th Sunday of Easter 25th April: Focus: We are God’s children; we are the flock of the Good Shepherd, who lays down his life for us. – God loves us so much that we are not simply called God’s children, but in fact are God’s children now. This love is that of a good shepherd, who knows & cherishes his sheep, & who, unlike others, will sacrifice his own life for the safety of his flock.

“The Lord’s call is not an intrusion of God in our freedom; it is not a “cage” or a burden to be borne. On the contrary, it is the loving initiative whereby God encounters us & invites us to be part of a great undertaking. He opens before our eyes the horizon of a greater sea & an abundant catch.” – Pope Francis. Priesthood in Achonry Diocese – Have you the courage to take a risk for God's promise?
