26th Sunday in Ordinary Time 29th September: Focus: Lay hold of eternal life by keeping the commandments, & pursuing noble goods. – The readings are a challenge for us to consider the eternal consequences of our actions. God, in his infinite love, both calls us to himself & gives us the freedom to accept or reject his invitation. We can allow comfort to make us complacent, or we can pursue noble goods & be persuaded by the One who was raised from the dead.
