When we sin, we are called to repentance & to accept God’s gracious mercy. By the same token, when others stray, we are to welcome them back with joy when they repent. We are all sons & daughters of the same merciful God.

Foundation in Counselling course: At the Newman Institute, Ballina, starts on 10^th October. Sligo Cathedral Parish Mission 23^rd - 29^th Sept focusing on our beautiful planet & the obligation God has placed on us to be responsible stewards of His creation. Over this week we celebrate our ‘common home’ with Fr Liam Lawton in concert; have nightly presentations in Gillooly Hall with renown speakers; look forward with the students of our schools & colleges & present a workshop offering practical advice as to how we can all make a difference.
