AbbVie employee cycles for charity. Local girl, Claire Rooney, will be a participant in an upcoming cycle from Sligo to Cork to raise funds for North West Hospice. This event is organised by AbbVie & each participant has a target to reach to help contribute to the total fund. Claire is organising a fundraising night of music & cabaret in the Mountain Inn, Coolaney on Friday 24^th May. More info on the line-up of talent will appear in the coming weeks.

The BIG HELLO held in Carrowmore School on Sat 4^th was a huge success. Huge privilege recording the memories of times past in the community. Thanks to those who donated their delph, baked for the occasion & to all who helped in so many ways to make the day possible. Great to see the community coming together & the doors of Carrowmore School open again for such a day with the added bonus of a very special guest, Sam Maguire. Thanks to Coolaney Mullinabreena GAA Club for bringing him along. Looking forward to having more days like this.   

Picnic Area: The final work has taken place on the picnic area in Lavagh car park. It looks really well now.

The walkway up Knock na Shee is our next project & the Council have just started work on the parking area.

We are just over two years in operation & are always looking for new members to join us. It’s a community group & all our volunteers are doing their best for this area. Huge praise goes to each & every one of them for the time & effort given to each project.
