The Holy Family of Jesus, Mary & Joseph 30th December: Focus: Let us strive to imitate the Holy Family’s mutual love & concern for one another. – By being born into a human family, the eternal Son of God has blessed every family, & so made marriage & family a pathway to holiness & eternal life. In the face of God’s ever-flowing generosity, highlighted for us today in the blessing of family life, we become aware of our human shortcomings & our need for God’s mercy & love.

SYMPATHY: We remember in our prayers at this time: Annie Holmes (nee Healy), Manchester & formerly of Churchpark.

May the Souls of the faithful departed rest in peace

OFFERTORY ENVELOPES: The Offertory Boxes for 2019 are available at the Church Door. Because new ‘lists’ were drawn up it’s possible that your Offertory Envelope number will be different to the number you had in the past. Sincere thanks for your continued support. If you are not on the list of those who support or if you are new to the parish & wish to receive a box of envelopes, please contact Fr Peter.

CHY3 certs are available at the church door. If you are a PAYE worker or self-employed & didn’t get a CHY3 cert in your Offertory Box please take one. Please print your name, & sign, date & return these as soon as possible so the claim to the Revenue can be sent in for 2018. I took the liberty of placing CHY3 certs in the boxes, this is not meant to offend, but to ask you, if your circumstances are still the same or if you are eligible, to please fill in, sign & return your cert early in the New Year. (The cert you sign this year will last for the next five years 2018-2022). Thank you.
