14^th Sunday in Ordinary Time 1^st July: Focus: As Christians, fidelity to Christ & the Gospel must be the hallmark of our lives. -  At first glance our readings seem rather pessimistic. Ezekiel is entrusted with a difficult commission, Paul has a thorn in his side & Jesus is rejected by his own. But in another sense, each reading is a reminder that when our eyes are fixed on the Lord, not even the threat of danger can deter us.
