PARISH WMOF; The Parish initiative for WMOF continues to make its way around the homes in our parish. In order to continue this unbroken spirit of prayer, additional families in the parish are invited to welcome the Chalice into their homes over the coming months. Families are encouraged to sign sheets at church doors to host the Chalice for one week. Through this small gesture we are sharing 'The Gospel of the Family—joy for the world.'

Parish Pastoral Council (Prayer & Planning): Meeting in Parochial House on Wednesday 27th June at 9pm. Items for discussion: Cemetery Masses, Mass at Mullach na Crois & Emmet O’Dowd’s Thanksgiving Mass & Function afterwards in St Nathy’s Hall. If you would like to help at these events you are very welcome at this meeting.

Well-known local flute player Harry McGowan will launch his new CD “Knocknashee” in The Coleman Music Centre on June 30th at 8.30pm. Adm free with refreshments served at the interval.

Pray for the Baby in the Womb

This week Simon Coveney spoke about the terrible injustice of separating migrant children from their parents at border detention centres & Hilary Clinton expressed similar views at a lecture in Dublin, yet, neither of these see any harm in separating the baby from the mother’s womb & letting it die. Double standards!

FRC Cycling Skills & Drills Camp: The FRC in conjunction with Sligo Sport & Recreation Partnership are offering a three day summer camp from 2-3rd July.
