Third Sunday of Easter 15th April: Focus: Jesus is the fulfilment of Scripture. – The risen Christ made himself known to his disciples. After having revealed himself in Emmaus in the breaking of the bread, he encouraged the disciples in Jerusalem to look at & to touch his wounds. He reminded them of what Scripture had foretold, just as Peter reminded the community in the first reading.

Collection: THANK YOU for your generous contributions to the Trocaire Collection €1690 (€243 of this donated by the pupils of Achonry N.S.). Holy Places Collection €145 taken up on Good Friday. WMoF Collection €635 taken up the previous week. Thank you.

Annual 8km run, jog / walk in aid of Gallagher House Services, Tubbercurry, will take place from Kilmactigue Community Centre (beside playground) on Thurs April 26th at 7pm. Registration from 6pm on the day or pre- registration before 4:30pm on Wed. April 25th at 071 91 20624 or by calling into Gallagher House Garden Centre. Clock timing. There will be prizes for 1st, 2nd & 3rd male & female. Refreshments served afterwards in the Community Centre. Cost per adult €10. Everyone is welcome & your support will, as always, be greatly appreciated.

Choir Practice: In Mullinabreena Church on Thurs 19th at 8pm in preparation for the First Holy Communion. Children & young adults are more than welcome to join with the Choir for this & any other occasion.

Coleman Music Centre, announce the launch of our latest CD for The Coleman Archive titled "The Past is Another Tune", produced by Gregory Daly. It will be launched by Joe Byrne on Saturday April 21st at 8.30pm. This is the fourth CD collection in a series of archive recordings from the Coleman Heritage Centre having the general title THE COLEMAN ARCHIVE. Adm: Free, all welcome.

A Group of students from Twinning Town Viarmes in France will be visiting Tubbercurry April 16th – 23rd.  We are looking for one or two families with a secondary school student who would like to host a student or two, please contact South Sligo Tourism & Community Information Office Tubbercurry.

Fuel Allowance; or Family Income Supplement; or Job Seeker Allowance (for more than 6 months & with a child under the age of 7); or One Parent Family Payment, Domiciliary Care Allowance

The person must own their house; & the house must have been built before 2006. For the applicant to receive works, they must NOT have received works under the SEAI scheme previously.
If all the criteria are meet, works such as attic insulation & ventilation, cavity wall insulation & ventilation, draught proofing, lagging jackets, cold water storage jackets, pipe lagging, energy advice & BER's can be installed in the applicant's home FREE of charge.
