32^nd Sunday in Ordinary Time 12^th November: Focus: Today, as we hear about the kingdom of heaven, we are reminded to be steadfast in our Christian faith, hope & love. – Jesus uses a parable to teach us about the reality of heaven. He warns us not to become drowsy in our faith, like the bridesmaids who in their foolish lack of preparation bring no oil with them. Instead, Jesus teaches that we are to live in such a way that we are ready to meet the Lord.

"World Day of the Poor, Sunday, November 19, 2017"

At the conclusion of the Year of Mercy, Pope Francis announced the establishment of the World Day of the Poor as an annual event in the Church. The aim of the day is to appeal to the consciences of believers, sensitising them to the cries of the poor & the suffering. The motto for this year is: "Love not in word, but in deed".

Odyssey Parenting Your Teen; Parenting NI has developed a breakthrough programme for parents of teenagers which is one of the most effective in the UK. This programme is now being offered in Sligo.
