23rd Sunday in Ordinary Time 10th September: Focus: Let our lives be rooted in love. – Today’s second reading reminds us that our lives are to be rooted in love, for love fulfils the law. More specifically, the more we are able to love God with our whole being & to love our neighbour as ourselves, the more we will keep the commandments & experience the blessings God wishes to bestow on us such as peace, joy & fulfilment.

Knock Pilgrimage - Mass in Honour of the Holy Face. Sat 16th Sept. St.Therese Holy Face Prayer Group in conjunction with Human Life International (Irl) Annual Mass of Atonement & Reparation. Ceremonies commence at 2.30pm with Eucharistic Adoration in Blessed Sacrament Chapel then assemble outside Chapel at 3.30pm for Procession to Parish Church, Holy Face Devotions & Holy Mass at 4.30pm. Delighted to have welcomed the Knocknashee Project to St.Nathy’s hall 2 weeks ago for what was an interesting & revealing insight into the foundations of our community. Fascinating to learn of a possible Hunter Gatherer (Mesolithic) link. Looking forward to welcoming you back with the results of the laboratory analysis and future digs. Big thanks to all who helped out on the night. Some great work being carried out around the parish over the last few months. A lot of people very willing to give an hour or two of their time to the different projects.

Digital Skills for citizens is a basic internet computer class run for people with no or a limited knowledge of the internet. It is a free 10 hour course which takes place over 5 two hourly sessions in centres across Co. Sligo. It is aimed at helping these people to develop their basic internet browsing skills.
