22^nd Sunday in Ordinary Time 3^rd September: Focus: We are to take up our cross each day & follow Jesus Christ. – Today’s Gospel emphasizes what is required to follow Christ. We must set aside our selfish desires & take up our cross each day to help build up the kingdom of God. This involves sacrifice. Rather than conforming to what is popular in our present age, we must strive to do what is good & pleasing to the Lord each day.

RUBY JUBILEE: Congratulations & best wishes to Bernadette Connolly, Carrowkeel, & Larry Cunningham, Ballymoe. They celebrated the Ruby Jubilee (40^th Anniversary) of their marriage recently with Mass in Achonry followed by a celebration in the Yeat’s County.
