14^th Sunday in Ordinary Time 9^th July: Focus: True peace comes from following the ways of our humble Saviour. – Each day, we pursue earthly goals such as a better job or a bigger house. If we’re not careful, our heroes can become those who have achieved such things. But today’s readings invite us to know the true peace that comes from following the ways of a humble Saviour, who sought only to do his Father’s will.

MASS TIMES: From 15^th August onwards the Vigil Mass will continue in Achonry at the usual time of 8pm, however, the Holy Day morning Mass in Mullinabreena will be at the new time of 10am rather than the old time of 11:30am.

Altar Society: Thanks to the people who joined the Altar Society & are helping out on a regular basis & doing a great job in Mullinabreena Church. However, more volunteers are needed & would be very much appreciated. New helpers could be added to the Rota at any time. Please consider giving a little of your time to help keeping your church looking good.

Reek Sunday – 30 July 2017

The annual pilgrimage to Croagh Patrick, Reek Sunday takes place this year on Sunday 30 July. Mass will be celebrated hourly on the summit from 8am to 2pm. Confessions from 7:30am - 2pm.

The annual collection for the Achonry Lourdes Pilgrimage takes in the Sligo Parishes on the weekend of 15^th & 16^th July.
