30^th Sunday in Ordinary Time 23^rd October: Focus: Only those who truly know they need God will come to trust in his word. – When we approach the Lord in prayer, whether it be for help or strength, we should avoid false pretences. Instead, we should recognize who we are – in our struggles & achievements - & stand before the Lord in honesty. This posture allows us to recognize our need for God’s grace & mercy, grow in faith, & give a more faithful witness to the Gospel.

SYMPATHY: We remember in our prayers at this time: Regina Hunt, Tubbercurry, (sister-in-law of Therese Hunt, Tullacusheen, nee O’Donnell, Carrowneaden).

May the Souls of the faithful departed rest in peace.

Tubbercurry & South Sligo Enterprise Town is coming to St. Attracta’s School Tubbercurry on 4^th & 5^th Nov. This is a free event sponsored by Bank of Ireland.  There is a fantastic line up of events including a business expo, panel discussions, fashion show, sports activities, coder dojo, children’s activities, health & safety demonstrations & entertainment for all the family. Special guest is Gavin Duffy of RTE Dragon’s Den. All are welcome to come along & experience the very best that Tubbercurry & South Sligo has to offer.
