33rd Sunday in Ordinary Time 13th Nov: Focus: Let us be vigilant & prayerfully prepare for the return of Christ in glory. – Life is sometimes described as a journey with an ultimate destination. As we near the end of another liturgical year we are invited to reflect on the last things – death, judgment, heaven, & hell. But we do so not in fear but in hope, for while this earthly life might end, the promise of life eternal shines brightly in Christ.

SYMPATHY: We remember in our prayers at this time: Francie Gilmartin, Rinbane, Joe Brennan, Ougham, (brother of the late Margaret Mooney, Castlecawley), Kevin Gannon, Bradford, (brother of the late Sean & Michael Gannon, Cloonaraher).

Open Wide the Doors of Your Home to Christ

Inspired by our founder, Venerable Patrick Peyton, the Try Prayer! It Works! focuses on Father Peyton’s message: "The family that prays together stays together."

"A world at prayer is a world at peace"

The Family that Prays together stays together”

Prayer for the Beatification of Venerable Patrick Peyton

Dear Jesus, Father Peyton devoted his priestly life to strengthening the families of the world by calling them to pray together every day, especially the Rosary. His message is as important for us now as it was during his life on earth.

We beg you, therefore, to hasten the day of his beatification, so that Your faithful people everywhere will remember his message that the family that prays together stays together, will imitate him in his devotion to Your Mother & ours, & will be inspired by His holy life to draw ever closer to You with childlike confidence & love. Amen.
