The Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary 15th August: Mary’s assumption into & sharing in Christ’s glory reminds us of the promise of eternal life.

Achonry Farmers Market & Café at the Hub: We would like to encourage people to support both our Community Café & our Local Farmers Market. These amenities offer ideal opportunities for people to get together & are instrumental in creating a dynamic & cohesive Community for us all to live in. Café is open Saturday & Sunday 10am-2pm, with Market on Saturday 10am-1pm. 

 

The Fr. Patrick Peyton Centre are looking for volunteers to help in the recently opened information hub in Knock village close to the Shrine called ‘Mission of Father Patrick Peyton CSC’. If you would like to help please call the Centre 096-45374.

Covid 19: The number of deaths worldwide is now at 6,450,217 (official figure), the true figure is nearer to 18 million. Republic of Ireland deaths 7,703. That’s 41 deaths in Ireland last week. The number of positive cases in Ireland is 1,651,291.

The work on the roof is complete & the Church has re-opened.

Work is now complete on the roof costing €214,500+. This was a big undertaking, but necessary. If you are in a position to help, please know that your support is welcome.
