Unborn babies won't ever see the light of day in Harris' "brighter Ireland", says former Taoiseach John Bruton as he urges pro-life people to lobby for 'freedom of conscience'

24th Sunday in Ordinary Time 16th September: Focus: As the Christ, Jesus is the one that Israel has long waited for. – Scripture contains many important questions. Chief among them is the one Jesus asks today, Who do you say that I am? How we answer that question goes to the heart of our faith. Can we, like Peter, say You are the Christ? And how deep is our commitment to this confession of faith?

SYMPATHY: We remember in our prayers at this time: Mary Josephine Judge, Achonry, (first cousin of the Devaney families, Achonry).

May the Souls of the faithful departed rest in peace
