5th Sunday in Ordinary Time 5th February: Focus: We are called to be salt & light for others. - As we continue in ordinary time, we are challenged to see it as a blessed opportunity to share & witness to others through the daily events of life. We are to be a bright light for others – illuminating the way, & salt for others – giving flavour to their lives; drawing them closer to God, through the witness of our lives.  

Novena to Our Lady of Lourdes: Novena begins on Friday 3rd February & concludes on the Feast of Our Lady of Lourdes, 11th Feb.

 

Prayer & Planning (Parish Pastoral Council): Meeting on Wednesday 8th February at 8pm in Parochial House

 

Eucharistic Adoration: The diocese of Achonry is setting up a Diocesan Adoration Committee to develop the practice of Eucharistic Adoration in the diocese. You are welcome to attend an Information Meeting in the Pastoral Centre, Charlestown, Saturday 11th February 11am. Refreshments served. See poster in church for further details.
