27^th Sunday in Ordinary Time 2^nd October: Focus: Daily prayer is essential in order to be open to the workings of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit gives us the grace, gifts and strength needed to put our faith into practice. We in turn must cooperate with the Holy Spirit moving within us so that our lives may bear good fruit for God. Let us set aside time to pray each day in order to be attentive and responsive to the Spirit’s promptings in our everyday lives.

Tubbercurry FRC: FRC Inter-generational Celebration on Tues 4^th October at 11.30am. The FRC, the local Active Retirement Group & Transition Year students from St Attracta’s Secondary School, will partake in a celebration of song & dance. This celebration is hoped to highlight the positive relationship between young & old in our community. There will be tales of old, traditional & modern song & dance with some special presentations from both groups showcasing their talents. Tea, coffee & home baking will be provided & all are welcome to attend & celebrate the coming together of different generations within our community. FRC Parent & Toddler Group will be hosting a fundraising event on Tuesday morning November 1^st, Trick or Treat for Temple Street, more details in the coming weeks.

North West Hospice Memorial Walk: For World Palliative Care week North West Hospice are holding a Memorial Walk in Doorly Park.
