23rd Sunday in Ordinary Time 4th September: Focus: We are to take up our cross & follow Jesus each day. -  Jesus taught throughout his life that to live as his disciples, we must take up our cross each day & follow him. Doing so requires that we love him above all things in our lives. It also requires a willingness to let go of anything that may hinder us in growing in our love for the Lord.

Lourdes Pilgrimage: I have brought back some rosary beads & holy water as a token of my thanks for all the good will I received in preparation for my trip to Lourdes. These items are available at the back of the church. I had a wonderful experience, thanks to all who supported me, Megan Finan.

Essential Seconds, Multiple Sclerosis Therapy Centre Charity Shop, Ballymote accepting donations on Monday 5th Sept 12-3pm. We accept all kinds of Adults & Kids clothes in all conditions as we can recycle clothes which we may not be able sell in the shop, Bric a Brac (photo frames, ornaments etc.) in good condition, books, cds, DVDs, furniture in re saleable condition.
