23^rd Sunday in Ordinary Time 4^th September: Focus: We are to take up our cross & follow Jesus each day. -  Jesus taught throughout his life that to live as his disciples, we must take up our cross each day & follow him. Doing so requires that we love him above all things in our lives. It also requires a willingness to let go of anything that may hinder us in growing in our love for the Lord.
