August: Saturday Vigil Mass in Achonry 8pm.

19th Sunday in Ordinary Time 7th August: Focus: Through placing our faith in God & living according to his commands, we become a source of hope. – As we read almost daily about terrorism & violence, it can seem like the good people are losing. This is not the case. As long as believers in God’s way exist, there is hope that love will overtake hate, good will overtake evil. Jesus’ perfect sacrifice of love upon the cross is definite proof that the power of sin & evil has been defeated. What more do we need?

SYMPATHY: We remember in our prayers at this time: Una Sheridan, Nenagh, (sister of the late Kevin Gormalley, Castlecawley).

May the Souls of the faithful departed rest in peace.

Fr Brendan McCarrick, S.A.C., his parents & siblings wish to extend sincere thanks & appreciation to all who helped to make the occasion of Fr Brendan’s ordination & First Mass such a fine success.
